After 1 hour and 10 minutes of riding, we will reach Ras Al Khaimah, and our first stop will be at the National Museum, which was the fort that was the residence place for the ruling family until the 1960s. The museum has wide collection of archaeological artifacts, documents, manuscripts, etc. After the museum, we leave for Marjan Island, the first man-made island in Ras Al Khaimah, which extends to the sea for 4.5km.Next we move to Al Dhayafa Fort, the 16th century mud-brick fort, about 20 kilometers north of the city center, which will give you a fabulous view of the city and the beach from the top, was built in a strategic hilltop position facing the gulf to defend the region from attack by the British.
